Every Sunday, treat your family to a spectacular gourmet Sunday brunch infused with French savoir-faire at Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit. Our chef Mark Hagenbach and his team have created new magnifique brunch stations for you! Savor our NEW pass-around items such as French asparagus with poached egg and sauce Bernaisse, Wagyu Nigiri and Tasmanian blue mussels with saffron in white wine, all served at your table. Make your own magnifique sundae with your favorite toppings.

The offer now also includes half a baked Canadian blue lobster per person served with a garlic and chilli butter sauce.

There are also pizzas pulled from a wood-fired oven, succulent flame-grilled French style chickens, roast beef and lamb. It’s a feast for all the senses as well as the appetite!

To complement the distinctly contemporary cuisine at the Veuve Clicquot Sunday Brunch, chefs at Voilà! draw inspiration from enduring culinary traditions by recreating a special selection of dishes from the open kitchen.

In Voilà’s Cheese Room “Fromagerie” you can indulge yourself with artisan cheeses to accompany charcuterie, freshly baked, breads, figs and dried fruits. The feast ends with homemade ice creams and classic French pastries.

Started in France by Pierre Hermé, the man that Vogue called “the Picasso of Pastry”, Macaron Day is now celebrated around the world.

Pierre Hermé once said of these delightful little creations, “Macarons only weigh a few grams, but that’s enough to leave your senses quivering with pleasure. Their thin, crisp shell, slightly rounded shape, tempting colors and tender interiors draw devotees to devour them with their eyes and caress their smooth surfaces. Their flavors solicit the nose and, when one bites into that crisp shell, the ears tingle with pleasure and the palate is finally rewarded.”

To mark the occasion of “Macaron Day 2017” at Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit, the talented Pastry Chef Joffrey Jacob from our Parisian-style café, Le Macaron, has created an array of special macarons. Guests can buy a macaron shell at THB 20 net each or ‘buy 5, get 1 free’ to stick on a 1.5 metre high elephant located in the hotel lobby. Proceeds from sales will be donated to the Elephant Foundation of Thailand. The charitable event is the perfect blend of Thai and French art and culture.

The first annual World Luxury Restaurant Awards™ was held at the magnificent Grand Kronenhof Hotel, Pontresina, Switzerland on Saturday 18 June, 2016.
